FresCon is a non-profit and educational event that showcases Fresno State and the surrounding community through the collective enjoyment of geek culture including movies, television series, books, comics, video games, board games, card games, and cosplay. Every one is welcome to explore their interests for free March 12th and 13th on campus in North Gym 118.

DEREK FRIDOLFS

DerekFridolfs
Derek is the Eisner nominated writer of Batman: Li’l Gotham. He’s worked in the comic book industry for 15 years as a writer, artist, and inker on a variety of titles that include Batman Arkham City Endgame, Arkham Unhinged, Adventures Of Superman, Sensation Comics Featuring Wonder Woman, Detective Comics, and Legends Of The Dark Knight. He’s also written a lot of all-ages comics based on cartoons for Adventure Time, Regular Show, Clarence, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Looney Tunes, and Scooby-Doo. Most recently he’s written “Secret Hero Society”, the first in a line of children’s books just released by SCHOLASTIC
